Fri, June 15, 2007 - 6:14 PMI saw "Der Untergang" in the original German. Based on the reviews and on my personal knowledge, I would say that it is very faithful to its historical sources. Don't know about the other one. -

Tue, February 5, 2008 - 7:19 AMExtremely accurate. It is taken wholly from first hand accounts of soldiers, largely from direct interviews withe the guys still surviving. Some of them had trouble watching the movie because it was so close to their own memories
